Mario Beauregard and His Holiness the Dalai Lama

As an author, Mario Beauregard published his first popular work a few years ago, entitled From the Brain to God. He recently published another popular book, The Powers of Consciousness: How Our Thoughts Influence Reality (Dunod/InterÉditions). In this book, he demonstrates that consciousness constitutes a fundamental element in the universe that cannot be reduced to the brain.

In 2013, Dr. Beauregard was invited to participate in a dialogue with the Dalai Lama on the subject of consciousness (Melbourne, Australia). He also participated in the filming of the film What the BLEEP: Now What!? (the sequel to the hit film What the BLEEP Do We Know!?). He is one of the architects of the new post-materialist paradigm in science. Co-author of the Manifesto for Post-Materialist Science, Dr. Beauregard is also the author of the Theory of Psychoelementarity and one of the founders of the Campaign for Open Science.
